Terms of Use

By using Cruising (“the app”) you agree to these terms. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA.

1. The service

The app provides discovery information about cocktail bars and a personal check-in collection. Venue data comes from open data sources and official award lists. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that opening status, address or opening hours are complete and current. Please confirm before you travel.

2. Age restriction

The app concerns alcoholic drinks and is intended only for people of legal drinking age (18+, or the age required where you live). The app provides information only; it does not sell alcohol and does not take reservations or place orders on your behalf. Please drink responsibly.

3. Accounts

Check-in features require signing in with an email code, Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account and its data at any time in Profile → Delete Account.

4. Cruising Pro subscription

What it includes: unlimited check-ins, the complete collection and progress, and full list features.
Length and price: an auto-renewable monthly subscription, at the local price shown on the in-app purchase screen and in the App Store.
Payment: charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Manage and cancel: after purchase, manage or cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds: billed by Apple; request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Your content

Your check-ins, ratings and (in future) photos belong to you. You grant us permission to store and display them as needed to provide the service. You must not upload infringing, unlawful or abusive content.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app or from relying on information in it. Your night out and your drinking are your own responsibility.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
